Learn beatmaking with a Grammy-nominated producer
Beatmaking is the craft of building the instrumental behind a track: the drums, the samples, the bass and the melodies that give a record its identity. It’s the foundation of hip-hop, trap and R&B.
Rather than stacking up generic tutorials, you learn directly on your own beats, with a clear method and feedback in real time. Every session starts from your level, your style and your references, so you progress quickly and concretely.
With a Grammy nomination for DJ Khaled's "God Did" and collaborations with major artists (Drake, Eminem, Lil Wayne, Roddy Ricch), I pass on techniques that are genuinely used in the industry — not detached theory.

How the lessons work
The first session takes stock: we listen to your beats, pinpoint your strengths and what’s blocking you, then set a clear direction. The sessions that follow are hands-on work on your projects, with live corrections and concrete goals between each appointment.
Lessons take place online by video call, scheduled around your time zone — sharing screens to work live on your beats — or at the studio in Paris on professional equipment. Rate: €100/hour (French residents: 50% tax credit available).

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between beatmaking and music production?
Beatmaking is focused on creating the instrumental: drums, samples, melodies, bass. Music production also covers recording, full arrangement and mixing a finished track. Beatmaking is its rhythmic and melodic core.
Do I need to play an instrument to make beats?
No. Beatmaking happens on a computer or a pad controller (Maschine): you program the drums, chop samples and lay down melodies without playing. The useful parts of scales and chords are picked up along the way, always applied to real work.
What software or equipment do I need to start?
A computer and a DAW are enough (FL Studio, Ableton Live or Logic Pro). A pad controller like Maschine helps with feel but isn’t required. You get pointed toward the setup that suits your style and budget, with no wasted spending.
Are the lessons online or in Paris?
Either. You can take your sessions by video call from anywhere (scheduled around your time zone) or come to the studio in Paris. Online, we share screens and work live on your beats.
Can you sell beats and make a living from it?
Yes: selling beats online (leases/exclusives), placements with artists, production to order. Most beatmakers combine several income streams. I also cover distribution and sales strategy during the sessions.
