When Suno isn’t enough
Suno is a great tool for finding an idea: in a few seconds you have a melody, a structure, a vibe. But you quickly hit the same walls: you can’t change only the drums or fix a chord, and as soon as you regenerate a section, you often lose what you wanted to keep. The generated voice isn’t yours, and the sound keeps that AI grain you can hear right away.
That’s where I come in. And no need to apologize for using Suno: to me, it’s today’s version of sampling. In hip-hop, we’ve always built on a sound that already existed; what matters is what you do with it. We keep what works in your generation and redo the rest for real. Wherever you’re starting from, there’s a solution.
I’m a Grammy-nominated producer and multi-instrumentalist, and I play the drums, bass, guitar, piano, keys, violin and horns myself. Your song doesn’t go from one AI to another: it’s played by a musician, for real, at the studio in Paris.
